The boat is lying at anchor.
It shouldn't have to move to drop someone off.
Heading back into port for one arriving guest costs four hours, the fuel and the berth. A helicopter does the same job in eight minutes, and the yacht stays where she is — in front of the place you chose her for.
Six requests that come in every summer.
Arrivals and departures on the move
One guest joins halfway through the cruise, another has to get back for work. Jet to the nearest airport — Olbia, Nice, Naples, Palma, Athens — and helicopter to the boat: the yacht's course does not change by a mile.
Crew change without a port call
Captain, chef, stewardess: rotations happen on fixed dates and don't wait for the weather. We bring them aboard or pick them up, even in archipelagos with no easy landing.
The part that stops the cruise
A part that port does not have, a specialist engineer, an original document. It arrives the same day instead of three days by courier and ferry — and that holds in Gallura as much as in the Balearics or the Aeolian Islands.
There and back in one evening
An evening ashore in Porto Cervo, Monte-Carlo or Positano, and back on board to sleep. Without moving the yacht, without a night tender run in a swell, without giving up the anchorage you had chosen.
When something goes wrong
Someone taken ill on board, an early return, a situation to handle fast and quietly. We know who to call, and what time they answer.
The archipelago from above
Twenty minutes over La Maddalena and Budelli, over the Strait of Bonifacio, over the Amalfi Coast or among the Cyclades, depending on where the boat is. It is the thing guests talk about for years, and it costs less than dinner for eight.
Three ways, depending on how the boat is built.
- Certified helideck. If the vessel has an approved flight deck, the helicopter simply lands. It takes a pilot with an offshore qualification and the helideck documentation: we have the captain send it to us before confirming.
- Winch, no touchdown. On boats with clear deck space but no helideck, people are lowered or lifted in the hover. It's a specialist procedure, not every operator does it, and it has to be planned days ahead.
- Heliport ashore plus tender. The most common and cheapest solution: helicopter to a coastal point nearby, then tender for the last few minutes. Less spectacular, far more flexible.
We don't charter boats.
We connect yours to everything else.
We fly people: from the airport to the quay, from the quay to the airport, and between one port and the next when the itinerary changes. You or your broker choose the boat; we fly the leg between the aircraft and the gangway.
Car on the quay
A driver waiting at the pontoon or on the dockside, not four kilometres away.
Catering and provisions
On board the aircraft too, or delivered straight to the boat by a local supplier.
Formalities
Customs and border control for non-Schengen guests, coordinated with the yacht's agent.
One number only
The captain or the purser speaks to one person, not to four different suppliers.
Tell us where the boat is.
We take care of the transfer.
Received
Give us the boat's position.
We'll take care of the rest.
Even on 15 August, even with two hours' notice. If it can't be done, we say so straight away instead of costing you the afternoon.
